Interested in volunteering at the 2026 SF Art Book Fair?

SFABF is an annual multi-day exhibition and celebration of art publishing and print culture, bringing together independent publishers, artists, designers, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world.

Last year was wildly successful, and as is the case every year, our success with this homegrown cultural event is due in large part to the hard-working volunteers who help make this event possible.

Launched in 2016, SFABF is marking 10 years this July!

In addition to volunteer support during public hours, we are also looking for dedicated volunteers to help us prepare for and break down the event.

Want to join the fun for one or all four days? Want to help us in preparation?

Please fill out THIS FORM to let us know your availability by Monday, June 22

SFABF26 takes place July 23-26 across three buildings along Minnesota Street, between 23rd Street and 25th Street, in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco. The fair will feature artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, zines, printed ephemera, and artists' multiples, presented by over 150 independent publishers, antiquarian dealers, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts. Visitors can also experience a wide range of talks, book launches, special projects, exhibitions, signings, and workshops.

Each year, our hope is to rally support for the unique art publishing community of the Bay Area while providing a platform for national and international publishers to present their work and engage new audiences. We hope you'll join us for a super-fun volunteer experience that ensures our ability to keep SFABF free and open to the public!
